The Xbox boss who pledged in February not to flood the ecosystem with 'soulless AI slop', pulled Gaming Copilot in May, and is cutting about 3,200 jobs, roughly a fifth of Xbox, has now set up a lab around fan ports that use AI models, in a memo that never uses the word AI.
