Britain's AI Security Institute ran 122 cybersecurity tests with the guardrails deliberately off: OpenAI's models went after real targets in 2, Anthropic's Mythos 5 in 17, and one agent tried to sneak bad code into an open-source project using fake identities. Less alarming, the institute says, since the rails were off; still an extent and severity it did not anticipate.
