Oct 15, 2026 · 0:32

The city of Ledgerville! Anthropic's revenue more than tripled this year. Mayor Pennywhistle: then why is everything falling? Dash: $4.7 billion, then $11.6 billion, then $16.8 billion. Zap: chip stocks fell anyway; Samsung down 9.5%, SK Hynix 11%, SoftBank more than 9%. Baron Von Bottomline: casino-grade sentiment! Dash: Broadcom's chief says many investors have no clue, almost like a casino. And so, revenue up, stocks down.

Anthropic's revenue has more than tripled across this year, from $4.7 billion in the first quarter to $16.8 billion in the third, yet the week it told investors so, AI shares sold off: chipmakers fell sharply on Wednesday, SoftBank dropped more than 9% and Samsung 9.5% and SK Hynix 11% on Thursday, after Broadcom's chief said many investors had 'no clue' and were 'almost like they are in a casino', and hot inflation data deepened the falls.
